I know you don't think she is autistic, has she had an assessment for autism. I suppose if she has learning difficulties she is getting frustrated regarding her lack of understanding and this frustrations is manifesting itself through her behaviour. She perhaps didn't behave this way when she was younger because to her the world was very simple. But now she is getting older and questioning things and wanting more information and understanding, she is finding it difficult to process all this. I'd take her to your GP and ask for a referral for an assessment, firstly with the behavioural nurse. The nurse should be able to assess whether your daughter needs further assessment. Good luck. xDeedee https://www.blogger.com/profile/02592264691785495222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-16039059779176252142012-11-06T20:00:02.255-08:002012-11-06T20:00:02.255-08:00awwwwwww! my little bob the builderawwwwwww! my little bob the builderAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169425902880341799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-85971918482030465922012-09-12T06:28:09.029-07:002012-09-12T06:28:09.029-07:00Mixed replies so far, yes they will be ok in the r...Mixed replies so far, yes they will be ok in the right school with the right support, and no, the right school can't be found, public schools not much help, private schools that won't accept autistic children. To be honest it's looking very scary. I wrote to Sarah Teather MP, minister of State for children and families and she says that the new changes will make things better, but to be honest her reply contained so much waffle I find it hard to believe. I only ever use waffle when the cold hard facts are too embarrassing. I will try and make sense of it and do another post.
Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14922568143111623696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-46272130020574802652012-09-05T05:54:08.943-07:002012-09-05T05:54:08.943-07:00Lucy sounds just like Keeden so it will be interes...Lucy sounds just like Keeden so it will be interesting to see how things go for either of them. My son was very difficult to control, especially in public and I found it all so hard, I hated people thinking he was just naughty, but couldn't bring myself to say anything about his autism. That was over 12 years ago and I feel differently now, so hopefully I will learn by my past mistakes. While I hate to be like "Oh he's Autistic, yes he's Autistic, he can't help it he's Autistic" I have come to a point now where I think personally the best way to make people understand and accept it is just to be forthright and tell them, this is how it is.
I think maybe some come across such poor attitudes about ASD & AS is because they don't understand and don't know. I will happily talk someone's ear off about it if it makes them think twice before passing judgement.
It is hard though xmamaowlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17542892476520275344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-89197718862572672942012-08-05T16:40:47.698-07:002012-08-05T16:40:47.698-07:00Some of the connective tissue disorders can share ...Some of the connective tissue disorders can share these same symptoms. http://www.niams.nih.gov/health_info/connective_tissue/spectrummomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02893167023543993093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-64520020342750498782012-07-30T04:14:59.213-07:002012-07-30T04:14:59.213-07:00This blog is posting good information about Kids A...This blog is posting good information about Kids Abacus nice photos i love it all! keep on posting!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2327290277100179593.post-42044206437145151072012-07-21T14:55:48.365-07:002012-07-21T14:55:48.365-07:00Too true Emma!
